Empty Bowls raise nearly $22,700 for Wood Buffalo Food Bank

An afternoon of hot food, art and music raised $22,695 for the Wood Buffalo Food Bank at the annual Empty Bowls Festival.

The annual event at Jubilee Plaza featured custom bowls made by the Fort McMurray Potters Guild and painted by Color Me Mine. Many of the 743 people who attended the Sunday event lined up down the street to buy a custom bowl for the event.
